The Crafts are an art product of cultural expressions and creativity of
a town, legacy of our ancestors and cultural patrimony of a region or a
country.
In America, many cultural expressions, so many exist as countries it
has. In the area of the Caribbean, particularly in Colombia, the
ancestors left a legacy of goldsmiths, potters, craftsmen and a very
rich musical culture, artistic expressions that last and are part of the
national folklore.
One of the appreciated wealth but, aside from its natural and musical
products, is the crafts. Many towns rich in this art, few of them are
San Jacinto, Morroa and Carmen de Bolivar, legacies of an ancestral
culture of natives who maintain their tradition in the elaboration of
hammocks, purses, blankets and all type of textile crafts, as well as
the stature of the wood with very native, folkloric and representative
